Hi Balanced Beauties <3
Happy Fall Y’ALL!!! Wahoo!
I have so much that I want to blog about. I am going to eventually post all of my workouts, my day to day diet and many more beauty/fashion tips. Also, many of you have done this already on the side, but feel free to DM me with anything that you’d want to know specifically and I will do my best to create a blog for that.
So I wanted to create a quick post explaining what inspired me to create my own blog. First, it starts with passion. There is nothing that I love more than working on myself to become the best version of me. The best relationship is with yourself, and I am a firm believer in that when I am happy, I am then able to make other people happy. With that being said, a balanced life is very important to me. Creating this blog serves as a tool for me to open up about what has helped me become more balanced and well-dressed (both on the inside and outside).
Besides my overall passion for fashion, beauty and health, there were two other inspirations behind starting a blog. My first inspiration was some of you reading this! I would receive many questions about where I bought my clothes, questions regarding my hair and questions about my personal workout routines. I know that I admire all of you and I am so appreciative for the people who have chosen to follow this account/my blog so far. It truly means the world to me. Mostly because I was super nervous to do this because I was scared to put my life out there to the world!
Although this will be a hobby and passion of mine on the side of working, it is so scary putting your life out to the world. Honestly, with all of the love and support, also comes varying opinions, right? That’s a scary thing for me because I was always a pretty private person, and chose to be since that’s what felt “safe” to me. In my opinion, privacy is what eliminates judgement. With that being said, I’ve certainly broken down that comfort zone by starting this blog. Eek. However, I think if I can help or inspire one person in one positive way, it’ll all be worth it to me. Again, thank you from the bottom of my heart for following me and for all of the positive love <3
The third inspiration/motivation to starting my own blog was my family/sisters. We’ve always talked about opening a family business, or designing a family blog of some sort. I love fashion/photography and Christine, my oldest sister, is very organized and loves to write. Nikki, my middle sister, said she would join us for support and would be our cheerleader. Ha! However, my sisters have kids and anyone with kids knows how little free time you actually have. At least with the really little ones. So eventually, my sisters may join me in some way, so don’t be surprised if they pop up in my blog posts from time to time. After all, they are the main reason why I am such a girly girl! Anyways, I just wanted to start with why I chose to create my own blog and share my gratitude/appreciation to the people who are going to be on this journey with me!
Outfit Details:
I bought these maroon jeans at Old Navy last year. They are super soft and stretchy/feel more like jeggings. I love wearing them to teach because well, kids never stop moving and neither do I! Old Navy always has sales but I would recommend going in person to try their stuff on. I am a size 0 regular in these jeans/jeggings and normally a size 25 in jeans.
I also bought this plaid shirt last year from revolve and the brand is called Sanctuary. It is XS and fits perfect.
My real fav are these black booties that I purchased from DSW (ON SALE!). I love how the pointed toe booties/boots are in this season. I think they def make legs look longer, which is really beneficial for 5’2 people like me. 😀
Enjoy and have a well-balanced day! <3
