Happy Fall Balanced Beauties! I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. I am LOVING this weather. Fall weather puts me in the best mood and it never fails!
Many of you have asked how I’ve been doing, feeling and mostly ask for updates regarding my pregnancy. It’s been an awesome time connecting with new people and relating to others who have experienced this journey of motherhood in their own unique way.
20 weeks down, and a little over 4 months to go until our baby girl arrives. Our hearts can not be more excited to meet her. The midpoint of pregnancy has been my favorite. Between seeing our little human grow tremendously, to feeling better both physically and mentally, this is the time in pregnancy that I’ve been taking in the most. I am finally able to enjoy every moment of this journey.
Real Life Pregnancy Symptoms Update
While the nausea and food adversions started to drift, heartburn, indigestion and reflux continues to keep me company (especially at night!!!). Heartburn is real, y’all. I’ve never experienced heartburn until pregnancy and my goodness, it is no joke. I hear this only gets worse until birth. I’ve been attempting to control it with a low acidic diet and drinking almond milk (sounds gross), but both help tremendously during the night with heartburn.
Tips and Tricks: I’ve been getting better night sleeps with my new pregnancy pillow. Date nights with this thing have been heavenly. I use a belly support pillow while I am sleeping on my side which is a m a z i n g. I ordered both of these off amazon, and my quality sleep has improved greatly. I would highly suggest these for any expecting moms who are having trouble sleeping. Separatley, I’ve been taking advantage of these cooler nights and getting in a two mile walk every evening around 6pm. This not only provides me with some extra exercise, but gets me ready for bed! My evening walks have helped me sleep more soundly.
PINKBLUSH MATERNITY CLOTHES REVIEW
One thing I’ve been super excited to share on my blog is my LOVE for maternity clothes. Many of you requested more maternity clothes during my Q+A on instagram. To be honest, I was one of the girls who said I would just “size up” in my normal clothes and skip out on maternity clothes. Although I wear both my normal clothes & maternity, I’ve found that when I wear my maternity clothes, I feel so much better. They are just as cute as my non-maternity clothes, but they are much more comfortable. I know firsthand after some research, that certain maternity clothing stores are expensive. It seems like a waste of money when maternity clothes are mostly worn temporarily during pregnancy. This is why I fell in love with more affordable and stylish clothing from PinkBlush.
PinkBlush offers both maternity & non-maternity options which I personally fell in love with from a fit and style perspective. I love how these clothes fit my bump, but can also be worn post-pregnancy as well. Their clothes are super fashionable, and are a style of clothing that I loved before pregnancy. These clothes fit like they were made to fit my bump perfectly. I am so excited to continue wearing the clothing from PinkBlush, especially since they make me feel just as confident as I was pre-pregnancy!
I’ve had a lot of questions during the PinkBlush GIVEAWAY about the beautiful plaid top that PinkBlush sent to me. I am wearing the Heather Grey Red Plaid Sleeve Maternity Top in a size small. I have more photos of this comfortable top below, which can be worn during and after pregnancy.

Thanks again to PinkBlush for sending me this maternity top. If you are looking for more maternity tops from PinkBlush, you can find them here.
Have the best first day of fall, y’all.
xoxo,
